Biography

Is the quintessential versatile athlete, as he rotates to the offensive line this season after starting as a nose tackle in 2007 and a linebacker in 2006… exudes hard work and is a fierce competitor wherever he lines up… will enter the preseason as the starter at right tackle for the Red Raiders this season.

2007 (Red-shirt junior):  Shifted from linebacker to nose tackle and did not miss a beat by once again appearing in all 11 games for the Red Raiders…finished fourth on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss, including 1.5 sacks, that totaled 14 yards… ranked sixth on the team with 47 tackles, including 15 solo tackles… recorded a season-high 10 tackles in the season opener against Shepherd… tallied eight tackles against West Chester on September 22… intercepted a pass against Millersville on October 13… broke up one pass during the season… forced a fumble in the opener against Shepherd… blocked a 47-yard field goal attempt by Robert Mamula on October 6 at Clarion… amassed at least one tackle in 10 of 11 games during the season… started all 11 games on the campaign.

2006 (Red-shirt sophomore): 
Appeared in all 11 games, starting 10 after missing the 2005 season … did not start against Lock Haven … finished second on the team in tackles with 72 … was third on the team with 8.0 tackles for loss … led the team in fumbles recovered with three … also had two sacks … totaled a career-high 13 tackles for loss, including 3.5 for loss, in his first game back versus Shepherd in the season opener … had 11 tackles in the season finale against Clarion … led the team in tackles four times … totaled one sack each against Kutztown and Lock Haven … had at least one tackle for loss in seven games, including the first five … had a nine-yard fumble return in the fourth quarter versus Edinboro.

2005 (Red-shirt sophomore):  Was not with the team.

2004 (Red-shirt freshman): Played in 10 of the team’s 12 games … recorded 15 tackles…had two tackles for loss, one sack and a blocked kick … totaled two tackles for loss, including a sack in a 49-27 victory at Millersville … finished with a season-high six tackles in a 45-7 victory over Lock Haven at home on October 9.

2003 (Freshman):  Red-shirt season.

Brookeville High School: Three-year letterman … played for head coach Chris Dworek … District IX and Tri-County Newspaper first team all-star as a senior … PA Football News honorable mention all-star … played fullback and inside linebacker … team captain as a senior … led the team with 96 tackles … member of District IX champions in 2002 … also lettered twice in baseball … played second base and was a member of the back-to-back District IX champions in 2001 and 2002.
