Shippensburg University Athletics

2013 (Junior): Continued her role as a key forward, working primarily as a reserve, in her third season… selected to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad…totaled four goals for the season, scoring twice in victories at Mansfield and Slippery Rock…appeared in all 21 games, earning starts at Slippery Rock in the regular season and against Millersville in the NCAA Semifinals…credited with an assist in a victory over Kutztown…totaled 26 shots, including 18 on goal.
 
2012 (Sophomore): Played in all 20 games for the Raiders in her second season…made her first career start at Mansfield…ranked fifth on the team with six goals and seventh on the team with 13 points…notched game-winning goals against Slippery Rock and LIU Post…recorded her first multi-goal game late in the year at Mercyhurst and also had an assist in the game…added other tallies against Mercyhurst and Mansfield…credited with 15 shots on goal…named to the 2013 NFHCA/Gladiator by SGI Division II National Academic Squad.

2011 (Freshman): Appeared in all 21 games at forward in her debut season with the Raiders…scored a goal in the season-opening win over Saint Michael’s…added an assist in the following  game…fired 16 shots, including nine on goal…named to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.
 
Chambersburg Area Senior High School: Earned three letters in field hockey for the Trojans under head coach Jen Amsley…selected as a Mid-Penn All Star…was her team’s leading scorer as a junior and senior…scored 22 goals and recorded 10 assists in her career…recorded three defensive saves…participated in the Angel 34 All-Star tournament…also played soccer.
 
About Ricker: Full name is Victoria Rose Ricker…is the daughter of Doug and Deb Ricker…majoring in elementary education with a focus on pre-kindergarten through grade 4.
