2019 (Freshman): Was one of three players, and the only freshman, to start all 18 games for the Raiders…served as a defensive anchor during her debut season…contributed to a defensive effort that limited opponents to one goal or less in 13 matches on the season, including five shutouts…functioned as an inserter on penalty corners…scored a goal against Mercyhurst on her only shot on goal of the season…also had an assist in the same victory over Mercyhurst.
 
Oley Valley High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Lynx under head coach Tiffany Cappallano…played on the club level with X-Calibur for coach Bryan Hope…named to the PIAA ‘A’ All-State Second Team as a senior after previously earning All-State honorable mention…finished as a four-time All-Division honoree who contributed to three county championships and two district championships…competed in the state championship game as a junior…compiled 11 goals and 10 assists in her career.
 
About Gillingham: Full name is Sydney Margaret Gillingham…is the daughter of Rob and Ange Gillingham…majoring in exploratory studies…has a sister, Erin…sister Erin played field hockey was an NFHCA All-Mideast Region performer at Syracuse from 2014-17 and was a member of the 2015 NCAA Division I Championship squad.
