2011 (Junior): Battled an injury that forced her to miss the first 10 games of her third season with the Raiders…returned to the field midway through the season and played in 10 of the final 11 games while starting six…scored twice against Slippery Rock, including the game-winner.

2010 (Sophomore): Became a valuable forward for the Raiders in her second season…appeared in 20 of 23 games…made a start against Seton Hill…scored the only goal in the national semifinal victory over Bloomsburg…finished the year with six goals and two assists…recorded a season-high two goals against Kutztown and Saint Michael’s…also scored against Mansfield…contributed assists against Mansfield and Seton Hill…fired 24 shots on goal.

2009 (Freshman): Excelled as a forward for the Raiders in her debut season with the team…ranked fourth in the team with eight goals…tallied two assists to total 18 points…fired 19 shots on goal…appeared in 22 of the team’s 23 games…made starts against Limestone and C.W. Post…registered a season-high four points against Limestone.

Lampeter-Strasburg High School: Worked towards three letters as a Pioneer in Section II of the Lancaster-Lebanon League under coach Jane Keeler…also played for the Lanco Premier club team…scored 28 goals and registered five assists during her high school career…holds the school record for most goals scored in a season (21)…served as a team captain during senior campaign and was named to the Pa. All-State Team, Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Section Team and Team Offensive Most Valuable Player following that season…also competed in lacrosse at Lampeter-Strasburg.

Personal: Full name is Samantha Marie Langone…is the daughter of Tony and Theresa Langone…majoring in exercise science while seeking minors in biology and coaching.
