2020 (R-Sophomore): No season due to the COVID-19 pandemic…named to the 2020 NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.
 
2019 (R-Freshman): Appeared in two games as a reserve goalkeeper during her first season on the field…totaled 32:18 in goal spanning matches against Seton Hill and Frostburg State…totaled all four of her saves on the season against Seton Hill…contributed to a shutout against Seton Hill.
 
2018 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
Centennial High School: Totaled three varsity letters for the Eagles under head coach Lizz Engle…played club hockey with Washington Wolves under coach Joann Engestrom…achieved All-Howard County honorable mention as a senior following a season in which she recorded 114 saves…compiled a perfect save percentage as a junior…also played softball. 
 
About Thompson: Full name is Meg Dorothy Thompson…is the daughter of Chuck and Susan Thompson…majoring in biology, concentrating in pre-pharmacy, while seeking a minor in chemistry...has a brother, Ethan.
