2013 (Junior): Named an NFHCA Second Team All-American following a historic third season…earned All-PSAC Second Team honors as a midfielder…selected to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad…2013 NCAA Elite 89 Award Winner…started all 21 games, taking the reins as a full-time starter…recorded two goals and six assists in addition to stellar defensive play…provided timely points in the NCAA Tournament, assisting on SU’s game-winning goal in the semifinals and on SU’s first goal in the championship game…registered goals in back-to-back games before the start of conference play against Kutztown and IUP…added assists against SCSU, IUP and Slippery Rock…credited with 41 shots on the season, the most of any non-forward.
 
2012 (Sophomore): Played in all 20 games, making four starts, for the Raiders in her second season…scored goals against Mercyhurst and Seton Hill…recorded assists against LIU Post, Seton Hill and IUP…points were the first of her career…notched career-high three points, including the game-winning goal, at Seton Hill…credited with a defensive save against Mansfield…recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as a 2012 Gladiator by SGI Division II Scholar of Distinction…named to the 2013 NFHCA/Gladiator by SGI Division II National Academic Squad.
 
2011 (Freshman): Appeared in 21 games on defense in her debut season…posted a defensive save at Seton Hill…recorded one shot…named to the NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad.
 
Northern York High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Polar Bears under head coach Kelly Farrell…scored five goals and recorded 12 assists as a senior…received All-Pennsylvania honorable mention, All-Big 11 Second Team and All-Carlisle Sentinel First Team accolades for her play…chosen as the MVP of the Mid-Penn Colonial Division…served as a team captain…selected to the NFHCA national academic squad and All-Pennsylvania academic squad…played on the club circuit with PA Mavericks…also played basketball and soccer…graduated as a member of the National Honor Society, World Languages Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and on the distinguished honor roll.
 
About Kauffman: Full name is Lucinda Ann Kauffman…is the daughter of Robert and Carol Kauffman…majoring in biology with a concentration in pre-optometry…has a sister, Danielle, who played field hockey at the University of Maryland…parents are SU graduates.
