2025 (Junior): One of seven players to start all 23 games for the 2025 NCAA Division II National Champions…served as the Raiders designated penalty stroke taker in addition to her duties on defense…went four-for-four on strokes, totaling five goals…scored the golden goal via penalty stroke goal in a double overtime victory at No. 7 West Chester (Sept. 9)…scored a penalty corner goal for the game-winning tally at Millersville (Oct. 8)…scored a penalty stroke in SU’s PSAC Championship victory over No. 1 Kutztown (Nov. 9)…aided a defense that posted 11 shutouts and allowed more than one goal just five times.
2024 (Sophomore): Made an immediate impact on the SU backline during her debut season…saw action in all 21 games and made 15 starts…aided a defense that posted nine shutouts and allowed one goal or fewer in 17 contests…2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction…selected to the 2024 NFHCA All-Academic Team.
2023 (Freshman): Attended West Chester University…appeared in two games for the Golden Rams…scored on a penalty stroke in a 4-3 victory over Mansfield.
Garnet Valley High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Jaguars under head coach Sandy Leiti…competed at the club level for the Horizon Field Hockey Club under coaches Amanda Lawson and Kevin Patterson…a two-time Class 3A All-State honoree…a two-time All-League and All-Delco pick, including a First Team selection in 2021…a two-time member of the PHSFHCA and NFHCA All-Academic Teams (2021, 2022)…Max Field Hockey 2023 Watch List in 2021…Philadelphia Field Hockey High School Defender of the Week as a freshman…tallied nine goals, five assists and seven defensive saves as a senior…a member of the National Honor Society…also competed in track and field.
About Snyder: Full name is Kayla Elizabeth Snyder…is the daughter of Sandy Leiti and John Snyder…majoring in early childhood education…has a brother, Jackson…aunt Kimberly Leiti (’00) and uncle Brian Tonelli (’98) both graduated from Shippensburg.
