Zane Boler is in his first season as a student assistant coach for the Shippensburg University Field Hockey team in 2025.
Boler has been active in the sport of field hockey for the last seven years as a member of the USA Junior National Indoor and Outdoor Teams. Among his outdoor tournament experience includes participation in the 2023 Four Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic. Indoors, Boler competed in the CanAm (Canadian American) Tournament from 2022-24.
As a junior coach, Boler has worked at the club level with Central Penn Field Hockey’s U16 intermediate team and at the youth level with Red Land Field Hockey’s U9 and U11 teams.
Boler has also worked as an umpire in the Central PA Youth Field Hockey League, officiating U9, U11 and U13 matches.
At Red Land High School, Boler was the team manager of the field hockey team for three seasons. In this role, he assisted the Patriots as a scrimmage player, with instruction to JV athletes, goaltender preparation and extracurricular roles.
A native of Lewisberry, Boler is a first-year student majoring in exploratory studies. He is a Shippensburg University ROTC cadet and has been a member of the U.S. Army Reserves since December 2023.
