Jordan Page is in her fifth season as a member of the Shippensburg University Field Hockey coaching staff in 2021. Since arriving at Shippensburg in 2017, Page has served as the primary assistant to head coach Tara Zollinger.

Page is an integral member of the SU coaching staff that was named the 2017 and 2018 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Coaching Staff of the Year and Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Raiders to victory back-to-back NCAA Division II National Championships.

At Shippensburg, Page’s coaching focus is with the defense. In 2018, SU ranked fifth in the nation in shutouts per game (nine overall), while goaltender Ally Mooney ranked sixth nationally in save percentage (.790). The Raiders yielded just 12 goals in the second half or overtime for the season.

In SU’s six NCAA Tournament victories spanning the 2017-18 seasons, the Raiders allowed just four goals overall and yielded eight or less opposing shots in five of six games. Â

Among the talented defensive players Page has instructed are Mooney, a 2017 and 2018 NCAA All-Tournament Team selection, and defender Mikayla Chaney, a two-time NFHCA All-America First Team and three-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honoree.

Page joined the Raiders in 2017 after serving as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Syracuse University. Among Page’s primary roles with the Orange included video breakdown, recruiting and statistics.

Prior to her service at Syracuse, Page was the head field hockey coach at Hempfield High School for the 2016-17 season. She facilitated all practices and directed all aspects of the program, including offseason training.

Page has long been involved with USA Field Hockey. Most recently, Page assisted the organization with management of the National Futures Championship and the RIO Sendoff Series in addition to having a role with the Coach Education department. Page also worked as an assistant coach with the USA Futures Program from 2013-15 and the JNC u19 Camp in 2015. As a player, she was named to the U19 and U21 National Field Hockey teams.

At the club level, Page has developed extensive coaching experience – most recently serving as a head coach of Xcalibur Club, where she has coached at numerous regional and national events. Page has also served as an assistant at the National Hockey Festival, facilitating numerous drills and practice instruction.

In an accomplished collegiate career at Syracuse, Page totaled 22 goals and 38 assists (82 points) as a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Region Second Team defender. Her 38 assists rank fourth all-time at Syracuse, and her 82 points rank 15th.

Page was an All-Big East Conference Second Team performer as a sophomore and a two-time All-Tournament Team selection (Big East in 2012, ACC in 2013). She played in 89 games and made 72 starts – including all 66 of the team’s games from 2012-14. As a senior captain in 2014, Page helped lead Syracuse to its first-ever NCAA Championship game appearance. She graduated in 2015 with a degree in health and physical education.

Upon graduation from Syracuse, Page spent 2015-16 in Ireland – studying toward a master’s degree in sports management at Ulster University Jordanstown while also playing locally at the club level with the Ulster Elks.

As a high-school athlete, Page competed at Cocalico High School. With the Lady Eagles, Page was named a 2010 First Team All-American. A three-time Lancaster-Lebanon League First Team honoree and a three-time Section Champion, Page totaled 66 goals and 72 assists during her high-school career, including 26 goals and 26 assists as a senior in which Cocalico reached the state championship game.
