Lady Raider standout Dani Haas replaces Angie Loy as the team’s primary assistant coach while seeking her bachelor's degree from Shippensburg in exercise science and a minor in coaching. Haas was an NFHCA Senior All Star and a three-time member of the NFHCA Division II National Academic Team.

Haas totaled 23 goals and 14 assists for 60 career points as a Lady Raider. She appeared in 76 games and made 50 starts, including all 43 games over her final two seasons. Dani scored five career game-winning goals.

Perhaps her most impressive campaign came as a senior, where her rock-solid defense and her intimidating presence on penalty corners helped her earn an award as an NFHCA Division II First Team All-American. She finished second on the team with 10 assists despite her position in back and completed her tenure as one of the most valuable and intimidating defenders in school history.

Haas was a part of the first PSAC Championship squad in school history when Shippensburg defeated Bloomsburg in 2005 and made three appearances in the NCAA Division II playoffs. During her playing career, Shippensburg recorded an overall record of 67-22 and averaged 16 wins per season.
