2023-2024 (Freshman): Saw action in 27 games in her debut season…made 12 total starts, including in six of the final seven games of the regular season…led the team in overall field goal percentage at 46 percent…averaged 5.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest…scored nine points in her first career start at Holy Family (Nov. 18)…reached double-digits in points scored in three of her last six outings…scored a season-high 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and pulled down a season-high tying 10 boards in the final game of the season Feb. 28 against Shepherd…pulled down double-digit rebounds in two contests.
Cedar Cliff High School: Totaled three varsity letters for the Colts under head coach Scott Weyant…competed at the club level for the Western Pa. Bruins under Robert Cash…scored 530 points her senior year.
About Buie: Full name is Alexis Nicole Buie…is the daughter of Denise Murphy…majoring in exploratory studies…is the sibling of Tracy Battle, Tyger Battle, Talor Battle, Taran Buie, Davante Buie, Danielle Buie, Boo Buie, Ashanti Buie and Aminah Murphy…Talor is the all-time leading scorer for the Penn State University Men’s Basketball… Boo is a First-Team All-Big Ten point guard at Northwestern.
