2016 (Junior): Remained one of SU’s most important arms, leading the Raiders with 12 starts and 63.1 innings…tied for team lead with five wins, finishing 5-6 with three complete games and a shutout…tossed shutout, blanking Lock Haven over seven innings of SU’s 1-0 win…threw at least six innings in seven starts…posted a 4.23 ERA in seven starts against PSAC opponents…struck out 42 batters…allowed three runs or less in five of last six starts…allowed one run on five hits in seven innings against Kutztown…limited No. 1 Millersville to three runs in seven innings of work…struck out season-high six batters in just four innings against Bloomsburg.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Maintained his status as a durable weekend starter for the Raiders, appearing in 15 games, making 11 starts…finished the season with a 4-6 record and a 5.32 ERA with conference wins over Lock Haven, Mansfield and Bloomsburg…also earned a win in relief, retiring two batters against Le Moyne…struck out 59 batters in a team-high 67.2 innings pitched…threw more than 100 pitches in four starts…lasted seven innings in two starts…allowed one run in seven innings with seven strikeouts in a win over Mansfield…struck out a season-high eight batters against West Chester.
 
2014 (Freshman): Stepped right in as a valuable member of the rotation in his debut season with the team…made seven starts and posted a 5-0 record with a 2.58 ERA…the Raiders were victorious in each of his seven starts…pitched at least five innings and did not allow more than three earned runs in any start…struck out 35 batters in 38.1 innings pitched…allowed just four extra-base hits…surrendered 11 earned runs, 16 walks and 35 hits…signature starts include tossing six shut-out innings and allowing four hits with five strikeouts versus LeMoyne…threw six shutout innings, allowing just three singles, in a 2-0 victory at Lock Haven…allowed two earned runs in five innings, struck out nine batters and allowed one walk vs. Slippery Rock.
 
Phillipsburg-Osceola High School: Earned three varsity letters as a Mountaineer under head coach Doug Sankey…posted a career record of 11-1 as a starter…named first team All-State and a Mountain Athletic Conference first team selection as a senior…also a member of the National Honor Society.
 
About Curtis: Full name is Mark Anthony Curtis…is the son of Mel and Shirley Curtis… majoring in geoenvironmental studies…has two brothers, Luke and Matt…Luke was a pitcher at Pitt who was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 18th round of the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
