Shippensburg University Athletics

Cason was a four-year member of the Belmont Abbey Crusaders, playing for head coach Chris Anderson. He compiled a career batting average of .300. He was also the founder of the Black Student Alliance at Belmont Abbey and later served as the organization’s president. 
 
2021 (Graduate): Started all 36 games for the Raiders in center field...posted a .269 batting average with four doubles, three triples, two home runs and 16 RBIs...scored 23 runs…compiled a .403 slugging percentage and a .341 on-base percentage…led the team in triples and stolen bases…nabbed steals in 17 out of 18 attempts, including four games with multiple stolen bases…recorded six multi-hit games, including a season-long hitting streak of nine games…ranked third on the team in walks, runs and total bases, and tied for third in home runs…hit a two-run, extra-inning, walk-off home run against Lock Haven in the bottom of the ninth inning in a doubleheader…finished third in the conference in triples.
 
2020 (R-Junior): Played in 19 games for the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey, making 11 starts, before the season ended due to the coronavirus pandemic…earned All-Conference Carolinas (CC) honors…totaled four RBIs…stole two bases…slugged two extra-base hits…compiled a .311 OBP…scored eight runs. 
 
2019 (R-Sophomore): Played in seven games for the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey…totaled two hits, an RBI and a run scored. 
 
2018 (R-Freshman): Appeared in 10 games for the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey…totaled two hits, including a triple…scored one run. 
 
2017 (Freshman): Redshirt season at Belmont Abbey College. 
 
North Brunswick High School: Was a two-sport athlete for the Scorpions, playing both basketball and baseball.
