Shippensburg University Athletics

2019 (Junior): Was one of three Raiders to start in all 47 games during his third season with the team…made 40 starts at shortstop and seven at third base…hit .271 with 19 RBIs…totaled 38 hits, including five doubles…recorded 11 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games…hit his lone home run of the year, a grand slam, against Le Moyne…finished the Le Moyne series with four hits and seven RBIs…had five hits in the series against Millersville.  
 
2018 (Sophomore): Emerged as a regular starter, making 47 starts at third base and appearing in 49 games for the Raiders in his second season…finished with a .234 average, totaling 30 hits and four doubles…scored 23 runs and recorded 11 RBIs…went 5-for-8 with two RBIs in the first two games of the PSAC Tournament…had four hits and scored five runs in the Kutztown series…finished the year by reaching base in seven straight games.
 
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 games while making five starts in his debut season with the Raiders…finished with a .231 average, tallying six hits including two doubles…scored six runs and recorded one RBI.
 
Mountain View High School: Earned six varsity letters, including four in baseball, as a member of the Wildcats under head coach Craig Lopez…was a four-year starter at shortstop and holds school record for most games played and most games started…was a Second Team All-Conference performer following junior and senior seasons…led team in doubles as a senior…also was a First Team All-Conference basketball player in junior and senior seasons…played club baseball with Stars Showcase Baseball under coach Carson Carroll…finished high school career with 4.4 GPA…was a member of the National Honor Society.
 
About Pollock: Full name is Jacob Scott Pollock…is the son of Scott and Kate Pollock…double-majoring in accounting and finance and is a member of the honors college…has a sister, Caroline…serves as the treasurer of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
