Shippensburg University Athletics

2012 (Junior): Played in 33 games and started 10 – all in center field – in his third season with the Raiders…earned five hits and scored six runs with two RBIs…stole one base…had two hits and an RBI against Concord…recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

2011 (Sophomore): Worked once again as a pitcher and outfielder for the Raiders in his second season with the team…made 10 appearances in the field and eight on the mound…started three games in the outfield…tallied 15 at-bats…recorded six strikeouts in 7.2 innings as a pitcher.

2010 (Freshman): Made 20 appearances as a field player and 12 as a pitcher during his debut season with the Red Raiders…ranked fourth on the team in ERA as one of the team’s regulars out of the bullpen…yielded just three walks in 12.1 innings…did not allow an earned run in seven of his final nine appearances on the mount…had six appearances during PSAC East play and did not allow a run in five innings…started nine times in the outfield, including seven in left field…had four hits, two RBIs and scored four runs.

Westmont Hilltop High School: Played under head coach Paul Knupp as a Hilltopper, posting a career .410 batting average…twice named a conference offensive MVP…also excelled on the gridiron, scoring 17 career touchdowns as a halfback for the Hilltoppers…amassed 100 goals on the ice as a hockey player while at Westmont Hilltop.

Personal: Full name is David George McKolosky…is the son of Dennis and Tye McKolosky…majoring in supply chain management…has three siblings: brothers Justin and Nick, and sister Brittni…brother Nick recently completed his career as a stellar running back at Division III Westminster College.
