2022 (Sophomore): Appeared in four games, including a start at designated hitter…recorded five at-bats…drew a walk in a game at Goldey-Beacom.
 
2021 (Freshman): Played in six games, including one start at designated hitter...hit a two-run double off the bench at Jefferson…totaled three walks and a .444 on-base percentage (OBP).
 
2020 (Freshman): Played in three games as a reserve before the season was canceled after 18 games due to the coronavirus pandemic…went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, RBI and two runs scored. 
 
Big Spring High School: Totaled multiple varsity letters for the Bulldogs playing for his father, head coach Josh Petty…named to the All-Mid-Penn Conference Colonial Division First Team as a senior…finished as a three-time All-Mid-Penn honoree, earning honorable mention as a junior and Second Team honors as a sophomore…selected as his team’s MVP as a senior following a season in which he led his team in hits, RBIs, stolen bases and slugging percentage…also earned two varsity letters in football…graduated with honors and a 4.0 GPA. 
 
About Petty: Full name is Braden Andrew Petty...is the son of Josh and Natalie Petty...majoring in management information systems (MIS)…has a brother, Jaret, who played one season with SU baseball…mother Natalie is a 2009 SU graduate.
