Biography
2007-08 (as a junior): Was the only Lady Raider to qualify for longdistance swimming at this year’s PSAC Championships…improved her career-best time in the 1,000-yard freestyle by more than two seconds with an eighth-place finish at the conference championships… continued to emerge as a strong competitor in freestyle events,
notching team-best times in the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyles with strong swims at the PSAC Championships… also swam the fastest team time in the 1,650-yard freestyle… recorded team’s second-best time in the 200-yard freestyle and the fourth-best team time in the 100-yard breaststroke… finished with top-five team times in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events.
2006-07 (as a sophomore): Continued her role as a top distance swimmers in the PSAC and scored the team’s fastest swims in the 500 and 1,000 freestyle events with impressive performances at the conference Championships, finishing eighth in both events…recorded
times to rank seventh all-time in the 1,000 freestyle, eighth all-time in the 1,650 freestyle and 10th all-time in the 500 freestyle… was also among the team’s top five finishers for the season in the 200 IM and the 200 freestyle.
2005-06 (as a freshman): Established herself as one of the team’s top distance swimmers in the freestyle during freshman campaign… placed 9th in the 1650 at the PSAC Championships and 13th in the 1000 freestyle.
Personal: Full name is Noelle Kristine Knupp…is the daughter of Harvey and Margaret Knupp… born on September 2, 1986…is majoring in elementary education.
