Biography
2008-09 (Freshman): Placed three times at the conference championships during his debut season with the Red Raider swimming team…took seventh place in the 200-yard fly with a time of 1:58.30, ninth place in the 500 free with a time of 4:45.17 and 10th place in the 200 free with a time of 1:45.22… contributed to the team’s 800-yard freestyle relay that finished third with a time of 6:58.67…posted the team’s fourth fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle with an effort of 1:44.03 at the Zippy Invitational and the team’s fourth-fastest time of 1:59.06 in the 200-yard from the Patriot Invitational…thrived particularly in the butterfly, posting SU’s third-best time in the 200-yard fly (1:56.28) and the fifth-best team time in the 100-yard fly (52.91).
Pennsbury High School: Three-year letterwinner…made the Suburban All-League First Team in the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle…earned All-State honorable mention in the 200-yard freestyle…qualified for the All-State team in the 100-yard butterfly as a senior and reached the All-District team that year in the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard freestyle…won the NISCA State Top 16 Award for the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly…earned All-American swimming honors in the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard freestyle during his final season…set school records in the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard medley relay.
