2019 (R-Sophomore): Was one of just three players to start all 18 games, emerging as the starting goalkeeper in her second season with the team…logged 1083:07 in goal…posted a 12-6 record with 74 saves…ranked fifth in the PSAC and ninth in the nation with a 1.16 GAA…slotted sixth in the PSAC with a .779 save percentage…recorded four solo shutouts and averaged 4.1 saves per game, both of which ranked sixth in the PSAC…contributed to a defensive effort that limited opponents to one goal or less in 13 matches on the season…recorded at least one save in 17 matches, including five or more saves in seven matches…totaled a career-high 11 saves at West Chester…credited with eight saves on three occasions.
 
2018 (R-Freshman): Appeared in four games off the bench during her debut season with the Raiders…totaled 96:53 in goal…made 11 saves, including a single game career-high five versus East Stroudsburg…yielded three goals…posted a .786 save percentage…contributed to two combined shutouts.
 
2017 (Freshman): Redshirt season at Lock Haven…suited up for Shippensburg in spring practice.
 
Boiling Springs High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Bubblers under head coach Kim Spisak…played club hockey for the Alley Cats under Tami Scola…twice honored as a Mid-Penn Conference All Star and as a Carlisle Sentinel All Star…also played soccer and competed in swimming…graduated with honors.
 
About Lay: Full name is Megan Elizabeth Lay…is the daughter of Dale and Christine Lay…majoring in management…has a brother, Grant…parents are SU graduates…father Dale was a 1,000-point scorer for the SU men's basketball team from 1982-86.
