2018-19 (Junior): Wrestled 11 times in his junior season, working entirely at 141 pounds…compiled a 4-7 record, including a 4-5 dual-meet record…represented the Raiders at the PSAC Championships…scored a victory by fall over a wrestler from Elizabethtown…notched two victories in conference dual meets.
 
2017-18 (Sophomore): Tied for third on the squad in victories during his second full season, working as both a 133-pounder and a 141-pounder…finished second on the team with six pins…secured two major decisions…posted an 11-8 overall record, including an 8-4 mark in duals…represented the Raiders at 133 pounds at the PSAC Championships and at 141 pounds at the Super Region 1 Championships…scored pins over wrestlers from Kutztown and Alderson Broaddus in the Super Region 1 Championships…defeated a competitor from Seton Hill in the PSAC Championships…won four consecutive bouts during the month of January…notched a PSAC Division II victory over a competitor from Millersville.

Waynesburg Central High School: Earned four varsity letters for the Raiders under head coach Joe Throckmorton…compiled a career 101-51 record…was a PA State Qualifier and a sectional champion…named to the All-District Team…placed fourth in the WPIAL’s…named athlete of the week…finished with a cumulative 3.9 GPA.

Rush…is the son of Roger and Shelley Rush …majoring in biology, concentrating in health professions/pre-chiropractic…has three siblings: Mary Kate, Cade and Coy…brother Cade is a member of the cross country/track & field team…his uncle, Bob Stephenson, started at tight end and was a long snapper at Penn State.
