2017-18 (Junior): Continued to compete as a freestyle swimmer with the Raiders in her third season…posted a personal record in the 100-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational with a time of 58.90 seconds…posted season-bests in the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational.
2016-17 (Sophomore): Maintained her role as a freestyle swimmer with the Raiders in her second season…posted a season best in the 100-yard, 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational…achieved a season best in the 1,000-yard freestyle in a dual meet at Clarion.
2015-16 (Freshman): Made her debut as a freestyle swimmer with the Raiders…recorded season bests in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational…notched season bests in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle at the Bomber Invitational.
North Penn High School: Earned two varsity letters as a member of the Knights under Coach Weiser…swam distance freestyle events for North Penn…also played water polo.
About Killion: Full name is Kara Elizabeth Killion…is the daughter of Kevin and Marion Killion…majoring in history, concentrating in American history, while seeking minors in disability studies and women’s & gender studies…has two brothers, Kevin and Christopher, and two sisters Kelsey, a twin, and Kristin.
