2016 Outdoors: Did not compete due to injury.
2016 Indoors: At the Bison Opener, Shupp tied his PR and school record in the 60H but only saw action in three meets this indoor season before suffering from injury.
2015 Outdoors: Shupp made his outdoor debut with a pair of wins in the 110H and 400H at the 2015 Tribe Invitational (William & Mary). At the 1st Annual Shippensburg University Invitational he ran season best in the 400H. Shupp had four place-winning performances at the 2015 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field meet, scoring in both the hurdles, triple jump, and 4x400 relay totaling 20 points for the Raiders who would go on to win there seventh straight PSAC title.
2015 Indoors: At the 2015 PSAC Indoor Track and Field meet, Shupp notched a second place finish and a new school record in the 60h. He also received a USTFCCCA All-Region award for that performance.
Palmerton Area High School: During his time at Palmerton Area High School, Shupp earned eight varsity letters playing soccer and running track and field. As a Bomber, Shupp made two trips to the PIAA State Championships totaling five medals, gold in the 110H, two silvers in the 300H, a bronze in the 4x400 Relay, and a 6th place in the 4x100 relay. Shupp competed in the New Balance Indoor Nationals during the 2014 season and finished his career as a Blue Bomber at the 2014 New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
Personal: Austin Isaac Shupp is the son of Daniel Shupp and Patricia DeSousa. He is majoring in Marketing and seeking a minor in Exercise Science. Shupp has two siblings, a brother, Tucker DeSousa, and a sister, Abegail Shupp who is also a collegiate athlete playing field hockey at Keystone College.
