2015-16 (Freshman): Appeared in 21 games for the Raiders off the bench in her first season…totaled 25 points and 16 rebounds on the year…registered 22 assists on the season, seventh on the team…scored a season-high nine points at Mercyhurst, shooting 7-of-8 from the foul line…had five points in 15 minutes at Gannon and hit one of her two three-pointers on the year against Shepherd…handed out a season-high three assists on three occasions…recorded two of her five assists on the year at East Stroudsburg.
 
Hershey High School: Earned four varsity letters as a member of the Trojans under head coach Randy Gambelunghe…averaged 14.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.3 steals during senior season…named to the All-Mid-Penn Keystone First Team following senior season…named to Patriot News Big 15 Second Team after senior season…earned Hershey Holiday Tournament MVP and Northern York Tip-Off Tournament MVP honors in senior season…played at the club level for Central PA Elite under coach Tina Thomas…member of the National Art Honor Society…also played lacrosse.
 
About Blackburn: Full name is Gabriela Marie Blackburn…is the daughter of Paul and Tara Blackburn…majoring in marketing while seeking a minor in communication/journalism…has a brother, Luke, and a sister, Victoria, who is also on the SU women’s team…mother, Tara, is a member of the basketball hall of fame at both Towson University and Tamaqua High School.
