2018 (Sophomore): Played in 32 games, making 28 starts in her second season as a Raider…made starts at four different positions: catcher, designated player, third base and first base…posted a .235 batting average with 20 hits, including six doubles…ranked sixth on the team with 14 RBIs…produced five multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games, including a two-hit, three-RBI outing in a victory over Millersville…had back-to-back multi-hit games and multi-RBI games at the West Virginia Wesleyan Tournament…sidelined midway through the season due to injury before returning in April.
 
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 42 games, making 39 starts as a freshman in her debut season...made 19 starts at third base, 14 at catcher and six as a designated player…posted a .236 batting average…totaled 26 hits, nine runs scored, and 14 RBIs…walked 11 times, ranking third on the team…slugged seven doubles…finished with a 12-game streak of reaching base, the third-longest streak of any Raider…produced three multi-hit games…had two hits and two RBIs in a win over East Stroudsburg…named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete.
 
Upper Merion High School: Earned 12 varsity letters, including four in softball, as a member of Vikings under head coach John Whitney…played club softball with the Sellersville Belles under coach Paul Koehler…was a four-time All-League First Team honoree, earning recognition at catcher as a junior and senior and at second base as a freshman and sophomore…graduated as the school’s all-time leader in career doubles after her leading her team in the statistic in all four of her seasons…posted the highest batting average on her team in her freshman season (.537) and junior season (.562)…also earned four varsity letters in volleyball and swimming…was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
 
About Ghanayem: Full name is Micaela Elizabeth Ghanayem…is the daughter of Jeff and Liz Ghanayem…majoring in early childhood education…has two brothers, Sam and Christian, and a sister, Maddalana.
