2014-15 (Sophomore): Continued to progress as a freestyle and occasional backstroke swimmer for the Raiders in her second season…competed in four events at the PSAC Championships: the 50-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke…achieved multiple new personal bests throughout the season, including a new PR in the 50-yard freestyle at George Mason.
2013-14 (Freshman): Represented the Raiders in freestyle and backstroke events during her debut season with the team…ranked fourth among the team in the 100 backstroke...established her collegiate bests at George Mason.
Lake-Lehman High School: Earned four varsity letters as a Black Knight under head coach Nancy Edkins…was a two-time third place district medalist…placed sixth in the district in the 200 freestyle…was a two-year captain…also competed in cross country, track and field, and field hockey for the Black Knights…competed at the club level for DMAC under coach Matt Stretankski.
About Sabol: Full name is Samantha Marie Sabol…is the daughter of Dave and Jill Sabol…majoring in mid-level education for grades 4-8, concentrating in math and language arts…has two siblings, Chris and Julia.
