2015-16 (Freshman): Debuted with the Raiders as he completed his third year as a student at Shippensburg…specialized in backstroke and freestyle events throughout the season…swam on SU’s 800-yard freestyle relay at the PSAC Championships…recorded both of his season bests in the backstroke events at Ithaca’s Bomber Invitational…competed individually at the PSAC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard backstroke.
Pocono Mountain West High School: Earned three varsity letters as a member of the Panthers under Coach Peru…swam for Coach Mike and the Pocono Family YMCA at the club level.
About Gallagher: Full name is Alexander Michael Gallagher…is the son of Patricia Peffer and William Gallagher…majoring in finance…has a brother, William and a sister, Nicole.
