2016-17 (Junior): Achieved his first individual PSAC place-winning performances in a productive third season with the Raiders…qualified for the ‘B’ finals of the 500-yard freestyle, placing 14th, and the 200-yard breaststroke, placing 16th, achieving new collegiate bests in both events…posted a 16th-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a season best at the conference meet…ranked second among SU swimmers in the 1,000-yard freestyle, 1,650-yard freestyle and the 200-yard breaststroke…contributed to a PSAC place-winning 800-yard freestyle relay…also competed in the 1,000-yard freestyle at the conference championships.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Developed new bests in freestyle and breaststroke events during his second season, and contributed to a sixth-place finish with the 800-yard freestyle relay at the PSAC Championships…paced SU in the 500-yard freestyle for the season, achieving a PR at George Mason, and also in the 1,000-yard freestyle off a season best vs. IUP…was the only Raider to complete the 1,650-yard freestyle during the season, doing so at the PSAC Championships…competed in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, mile and 400-yard IM at the PSAC Championships, narrowly missing ‘B’ finals in two events.
2014-15 (Freshman): Debuted as a versatile swimmer for the Raiders in his first season…competed in the 200-yard breaststroke, 1,000-yard freestyle, 1,650-yard freestyle and 400-yard IM at the PSAC Championships…established numerous personal bests with a strong weekend at George Mason’s Patriot Invitational…ranked third on the team in both breaststroke events…served as the team’s second-fastest long distance swimmer.
Ridley High School: Set two school records with the Raiders under coach Kurt Slenn…also competed at the club level with Ridley Area YMCA RAYS and coach Erick Nelson…earned All-County Second Team honors and two All-Delco honorable mention awards…contributed to a winning streak in dual meets…posted PRs of 1:01.17 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:12.74 in the 200 breaststroke, 1:49.27 in the 200 freestyle and 2:03.06 in the 200 IM.
About Beck: Full name is Quinton Thomas Beck…is the son of Theodore and Kathleen Beck…majoring in management information systems...has a brother, Mason, and a sister, Madison.
