2014 (R-Freshman): Emerged as a starting safety for the Red Raiders in his debut season, playing in all 11 games and making 10 starts at strong safety…finished eighth on the team with 45 tackles (25 solo), including 1.5 for loss…totaled three passes defensed…recorded a fumble recovery in the season opener at Seton Hill…achieved a career-high seven tackles at Millersville, including 1.5 tackles for loss…totaled six tackles at Seton Hill and Bloomsburg and five tackles against Edinboro and East Stroudsburg…had multiple tackles in nine games and at least one tackle in all 11 games.
 
2013 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
 
St. Francis High School: Played wide receiver and defensive back under head coach Jerry Smith…totaled 61 solo tackles, 33 assisted tackles, 3 interceptions and one forced fumble in 19 games over final two seasons…as a senior, caught three passes for 43 yards…was named a First Team All-Catholic League defensive back as a senior.
 
About Hudson: Full name is William Roy Hudson…is the son of the late Warren Hudson and Kelly Hudson… majoring in management, concentrating in entrepreneurships and corporations…father Warren played in the Canadian Football League for 10 years for the Toronto Astronauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers and was named MVP in the Blue Bombers’ 1990 Grey Cup win…has a brother, Cory, who plays football at Wilfrid Laurier University.
