Increased his playing time at free safety but will have to fight for a starting spot this season… displayed a powerful presence in the secondary with five pass breakups and two forced fumbles last season… enters the season at No. 2 on the depth chart behind Travis Proctor.

2007 (Red-shirt sophomore):  Ranked ninth on the team with 36 tackles, including one for loss, while appearing in all 11 of the team’s games… picked off one pass on the season, intercepting Lock Haven’s Tyler Golden on October 27… forced two fumbles, one against Kutztown on September 15 and at IUP on November 3… recovered the fumble he forced against the Crimson Hawks… totaled five pass breakups, third-best on the team… had at least one tackle in nine of the team’s 11 games… posted a season-high seven tackles in the season finale at California (Pa.) on November 10 and compiled 17 of his tackles in the final three games of the season.

2006 (Red-shirt freshman):  Appeared in 11 games with one start at Lock Haven … totaled 23 tackles, half a tackle for loss, two pass breakups and one interception … had a career-high eight tackles at Lock Haven in first career start … added four tackles against Bloomsburg at home … totaled three solo stops versus Edinboro … intercepted Nate Crookshank’s pass with 1:00 remaining to seal a 28-21 victory at Slippery Rock on October 7, giving Rocky Rees his 100th victory at Shippensburg … finished the game with four tackles.

2005 (Freshman):  Red-shirt season.

Westminster High School:  Three-year letterman … played for head coach Scott Tobias … totaled 75 tackles and three interceptions as a safety … also had 52 catches for 857 yards and 15 touchdowns as a wide receiver … totaled two kick return scores as well…two-time all-state honorable mention selection … All-Central Maryland Conference and all-county selection twice … Baltimore Touchdown Club All-Star as a senior…two-time Baltimore Sun Player of the Week … recipient of the Westminster
Scholar-Athlete of the Year … also played basketball.
