* Chris is a freshman indoors and sophomore outdoors athletically while a sophomore academically. He red-shirted indoors in 2012-13.
2012-13 (Freshman): Debuted in outdoor track for the Raiders…was a PSAC outdoor place-winner in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, taking seventh place with a personal best of 9:29…completed a redshirt season indoors…won the steeplechase at the Paul Kaiser Classic and competed in the event four times overall…established a personal best in the 1,500 meters at Penn State…was the only Raider to run in all seven of the team’s cross country races during the season…served as the team’s No. 6 runner at the PSAC Championships and the No. 7 runner at the NCAA Regional Championships…recognized for his work in the classroom with a selection to the 2012 USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team.
Phoenixville Area High School: Mullin earned a total of 12 varsity letters for the Phantoms among five different sports. He earned nine varsity letters in track and cross country under cross country head coach Justin Winters and track head coach Jack Kraynak. Mullin earned All-Pac 10 recognition in cross country and in track for the 1600. He holds career times of 16:40 in the 5K, 4:24.79 in the 1600, 1:58.86 in the 800 and 52.4 in the 400. Mullin was a member of the National Honor Society and also competed in soccer and ice hockey.
Personal: Full name is Christopher J. Mullin…is the son of Dennis and Carol Mullin…majoring in exercise science…has a brother, Dennis.
