Biography

A veteran defensive sparkplug who is once again expected to see significant playing time at cornerback for the Red Raiders … enters the season having played in 29 games over the last three seasons at CB … has good speed … also a good leaper.

2007 (Junior): Recorded 22 solo tackles and 30 total tackles in seven games for the Red Raiders in his third season with the team… registered 1.5 tackles for loss… made six starts on the season, including the first five games of the year… finished with seven tackles against Shepherd in the opener on September 1 and against Edinboro on September 29… tied for the team-lead with six solo tackles against the Fighting Scots…returned a kickoff for 28 yards against Clarion on October 6… appeared in seven games on the season. 

2006 (Sophomore):  Started in 10 games and missed only the season finale at home versus Clarion … finished third among defensive backs with 53 tackles … finished second in the conference in passes defended … also ranked among the nation’s leaders … totaled a career-high seven tackles in the season opener against Shepherd … also had seven stops against Kutztown and California (Pa.) … grabbed his first career interception against Kutztown on September 16 … also added a pick at Lock Haven on October 14 … had one tackle for a loss of three yards versus Kutztown and combined with Jonathan Aldridge for a tackle for loss against Indiana (Pa.).

2005 (Freshman):  Appeared in 10 games, starting in eight contests at defensive back … finished eighth on the team with 34 tackles, including a season-high six tackles against Edinboro and West Chester … also recorded two tackles for a loss on the season.

Greater Johnstown High School:  Three-year letterman … played for head coach Bob Arcuno … earned all-conference first team and all-area second team honors as a senior … led his team with eight interceptions and five forced fumbles in 2005 … also totaled 47 tackles and four touchdowns on returns as a senior … team won a Laurel Highland Conference championship in 2004 … also won a District VI championship … also won three letters in basketball, two in track and field and one in soccer … won two District VI championships in basketball.

Personal:  Full name is Reginald Amar Farrior … is the grandson of Wilma King … born on Jan. 1, 1987 … majoring in communications/journalism.
