State College High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Little Lions under head coach William Tussey…named to the All Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division First Team All Star squad as a senior…was a key member of back-to-back District 6 Championship teams…also participated in indoor track & field.
 
About Sichler: Full name is Calvin Carl Sichler…is the son of C.J. and Cheryl Sichler…major is undeclared…has one sister, Morgan…his father, C.J., played two years at Allegheny College (Md.) before transferring to Penn State to play baseball…his aunt, Nancy Moerschbacher, played softball for four years at Penn State…his uncle, Steve Haffner, played baseball for three years at Penn State…his cousin, Jack Haffner, is currently a junior football player at Penn State.
