2015 (Sophomore): Served as a valuable reliever, making a team-high 19 appearances and leading SU with three saves…finished with a 3-1 record and a 3.38 ERA…allowed nine earned runs and struck out 14 batters in 24 innings…picked up saves in wins over Kutztown, UPJ and Millersville…earned the win at Slippery Rock on April 14 after holding The Rock scoreless over a season-high 3.1 innings…also took home the win on March 22 vs. Mansfield and April 17 vs. Bloomsburg…had a 9.2 innings (six appearances) scoreless streak from March 27 through April 14.
 
2014 (Freshman): Made 13 appearances out of the bullpen in his debut season with the Raiders…struck out 14 batters in 13.2 innings pitched…posted a 3.95 ERA…struck out two batters in one inning to record a save vs. IUP…earned a save at Belmont Abbey after pitching two innings, allowing one run and striking out two batters…made nine appearances in which he did not allow an earned run.
 
Walkersville High School: Earned three varsity letters as a Lion under head coach Jeremy Long…for his career, Kutchey pitched in 71 innings, recorded 74 strikeouts and a 2.27 ERA…named first team all-area, second team all-conference, and second team All-Gazette…also competed on the football team.
 
About Kutchey: Full name is Joshua John Kutchey…is the son of John and Lori Kutchey…majoring in finance…has three siblings, Kaitlyn, Joel and Jacob.
