2009 (Junior): Transitioned to a defensive role in third season with Red Raiders…played in 13 games and started along the back lines on six occasions…netted one goal in loss to East Stroudsburg on the road…assisted on a late goal in a loss to Bloomsburg…had six shots on the season including a pair against West Virginia Wesleyan…launched two shots on goal during season.

2008 (Sophomore): Led the team with three assists and was one of the team’s most valuable players and leaders during a rebuilding season…finished as one of just six players to start in all 18 games during the season…posted helpers against UDC, Millersville and Seton Hill…recorded three shots on goal during the season…fired 12 shots overall during the campaign…finished fourth on the team in points.

2007 (Freshman): Delivered an immediate impact as a solid forward in first season with the Red Raiders…appeared in 17 games for the season, only missing contests against Kutztown, UDC and California (Pa.)…totaled two goals and two assists for a total of six points…ranked eighth on the team and second among freshman in scoring…netted his first career goal in an overtime loss at Lock Haven in the third game of the season…added a goal in a road victory at Shepherd…tallied assists against Holy Family and Bloomsburg…fired seven shots, including four on goal.

Cedar Cliff High School: Two-year letter winner for the Colts under coach Jason Christine…was named to the Mid Penn Conference Commonwealth Division Second Team as a senior…also chosen team captain and Most Valuable Player… also played for club team LDC United Xcel.

Personal: Full name is Scott Michael Smith… is the son of Davis and Theresa Smith…majoring in accounting.
