Shippensburg University Athletics

2014 (Junior): Played in 16 of the team’s 17 games during her third season with the Raiders…earned 14 starts overall, including the final 12 games of the season…provided an assist in a 2-0 victory over Bloomsburg…totaled five shots, including two on goal…worked mostly as a defender but occasionally crept up field to play forward…contributed to a team defense that set a school record in allowing just 14 goals in 17 games, including just nine goals in the final 16 games.

2013 (Sophomore): Developed as a valuable backline presence in her second season with the team…appeared in 13 games for the Raiders…made starts against Gannon, West Chester, East Stroudsburg and Lock Haven…continued to work primarily as a defender but also saw time along the front lines during the season.
 
2012 (Freshman): Appeared in eight games for the Raiders as rookie…entered as a reserve both on defense and as a forward but saw most of her minutes along the back lines.
 
North Harford High School: Earned four varsity letter for the Hawks under head coach Tom Berg…led team in goals and assists as a junior…All-County Second Team selection in both 2009 and 2010…played for the Baltimore Bays Chelsea ’95 club team under head coach Doug Pryor…was a member of the National Honors Society…also played lacrosse.

About Jones: Full name is Haley Marie Jones…is the daughter of David and Michelle Jones…majoring in mathematics, concentrating in statistics, while pursuing a minor in business…has two brothers, Zack and Nick.
