2012-13 (Sophomore): Contributed to a PSAC outdoor championship in the 4x100-meter relay during her second season with the Raiders…earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for her performance with the relay…qualified for the PSAC Outdoor Championships in the 100 and 200 meters and for the PSAC Indoor Championships in the 200 meters…achieved a new non-wind-aided personal best in the 100 meters at the PSAC Outdoor Championships.
2011-12 (Freshman): Placed sixth in the 200 meters at the PSAC indoor championships during her debut season…ran sprints for the Raiders…established her outdoor personal bests in the 100 and 200 meters at the Millersville Metrics.
Harrisburg High School: Attended Harrisburg and Bishop McDevitt during high school…collected two varsity letters…was a state medalist in the 200 meters at the PIAA Championships…won multiple district championships in the 200 and 400 meters…also contributed to district championships in the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays…achieved multiple Mid-Penn Championships and district championships on the track…selected as a WGAL Athlete of the Week…also played field hockey.
Personal: Full name is Yaneshia A.C. Gaston…is the daughter of Abdul Gaston and Dorothy Queen…majoring in psychology…has eight siblings: Paishe, Troy, Micheal, Nakiya, Allyse, Ashyia, Tavon and Yadaya Queen.
