2013-14 (Sophomore): Continued with the Raiders in his second season, participating in a wide variety of events…represented SU in both breaststroke and individual medley events at the PSAC Championships…set a new personal best in the 200 IM at George Mason…ranked third among Raider swimmers in the individual medley events.
2012-13 (Freshman): Posted two individual PSAC place-winning performances for the Raiders in his debut season…took 11th place in the 400 IM and 16th in the 200 breaststroke…also represented the Raiders in the 500 freestyle at the conference meet and contributed to a sixth-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay…established freestyle personal bests at the Patriot Invitational and IM personal bests at the Bomber Invitational and the PSAC Championships.
Chambersburg Area Senior High School: Excelled for the Trojans under head coach Mark Shoap, earning four varsity letters…broke SU head coach Tim Verge’s CASHS records in the 200 and 500 freestyle…finished as a four-time Mid Penn Conference qualifier and a four-time District 3 qualifier…also swam for the Chambersburg Chargers at the YMCA level under coach Anthony Addlesberger…was a five-time YMCA National Qualifier and a 10-time YMCA State Qualifier…established a YMCA record in the 500 freestyle and with various relays…ranked fourth in his graduating class of 591 students…was a member of the National Honor Society…also played lacrosse.
About Metz: Full name is Jordan Matthew Metz…is the son of Tony and Julie Metz, both SU alums…majoring in biology with a concentration in pre-med…has two sisters who each swim: Kylee and Karlee.
