Biography

2016 (Junior): Served as the team’s scoring leader in her third season with the Raiders as a dependable attacker, starting all 16 games…paced the team with 12 assists and 35 points and tied for the team lead with 22 goals…set career highs with five goals against Catawba and Bloomsburg…matched a career high with seven points (five goals, two assists) at Bloomsburg, including an overtime golden goal…scored four game-winning goals on the season…caged four goals on free positions…accrued four hat tricks on the year…struck for a goal in 10 games…had at least one point in 13 games…totaled 12 groundballs, including a season-high four at Catawba…amassed six draw controls and five caused turnovers.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Solidified a role as an integral attacker in starting all 17 games during her second season…led the team with 22 assists…finished second on the team in scoring with 42 points…ranked third on the team with 20 goals…notched hat tricks in consecutive games against Shepherd, Regis and Rockhurst…tallied twice against Georgian Court and Millersville…registered a career-high seven points (two goals, five assists) against Millersville…matched a season high with five assists against Kutztown…had at least one goal in 12 games and at least one point in 14 games…totaled 16 groundballs, including a season-high four against Shepherd and Chestnut Hill…amassed eight draw controls and five caused turnovers.
 
2014 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact in her debut season with the team…appeared in all 17 games…recorded three goals and was third on the team with 10 assists…collected a career-best four assists in a one-goal victory over Edinboro…scored one goal in the season opener at Shepherd…had one goal and one assist at Wheeling Jesuit…scored one goal at nationally-ranked IUP…finished with nine ground balls, 11 draw controls and five caused turnovers.

Huntingtown High School: Totaled four varsity letters playing for the Hurricanes under coach Maggie Pike…recorded 105 goals and 101 assists during prep career…broke a team record for most assists as a sophomore before breaking her own record as a junior…named All-Conference First Team as a senior…earned All-County Second Team honors as a freshman and a sophomore…received the “Playmaker” award…played for club team Splax under coach Lauren Carrier…competed in soccer as a freshman.

About Frank: Full name is Amanda Rose Frank…is the daughter of David and Kris Frank…majoring in social work while seeking a minor in disability studies…has a sister, Rachel, who coaches JV lacrosse at Huntingtown High School and a brother, Brian, who plays lacrosse at Wheeling Jesuit…great grandfather, Jack Green, is in the Shippensburg University Hall of Fame for football, basketball and track and field…numerous other family members have also attended Shippensburg.
