Biography
2013 (Junior): Saw action in 15 of the team’s 17 games, including her first career start against Georgian Court…scored two goals in a win over Wheeling Jesuit and tallied an assist in a win over Slippery Rock for a total of three points on the season…set season highs with 14 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and five draw controls.
2012 (Sophomore): Increased her playing time with 14 appearances for the Raiders in her second season…scored goals against Newberry, West Virginia Wesleyan and Kutztown…also managed two groundball pickups.
2011 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games for the Raiders in her debut season…picked up two goals and an assist in a win at West Virginia Wesleyan.
Conwell-Egan High School: Earned four varsity letters under head coach Mark Whartenby and the Eagles of Conwell-Egan…finished in the Top 10 in scoring in Bucks County as a junior and senior…named All Catholic First Team and First Team Golden Team as a junior…named All Catholic Second Team during senior season.
Personal: Full name is Ashley Elizabeth Pope…is the daughter of Greg and Lisa Pope…majoring in human communication studies and seeking a minor in technical/professional communications.
