2012 (Junior): Named to the 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II All-Atlantic Region Third Team for her splendid play in the midfield as a third-year player…started all 18 games for the Raiders this season…posted one goal and three assists…her assists total led the team…was the primary taker of corners, excelling in placing the ball inside the box…notched her goal on a penalty kick versus ESU…recorded her assists versus Holy Family, Mansfield and Gannon.  

2011 (Sophomore): Played in all 18 games on the season with three starts, including the first two games of the season…notched an assist on the team’s lone goal against IUP…took 12 shots on the year, including a season-high three at Clarion.

2010 (Freshman): Broke through with a stellar debut season…ranked fifth on the team with three goals and eight points…all of her tallies were game-winning goals… appeared in 17 games…made starts against Davis & Elkins, Kutztown and Bloomsburg…picked up first collegiate points with a goal and an assist at Seton Hill…scored the first goal against Davis & Elkins…recorded the decisive tally against Millersville…totaled 22 shots…fired 13 shots on goal.

Penn Manor High School: Earned four letters under head coach William Zapata at Penn Manor…named to the Lancaster-Lebanon League First Team squad as a senior…scored 12 goals and registered two assists during junior season…broke out as a sophomore, scoring 13 goals and dishing two assists…named a First Team All-Star as a junior and Second Team All-Star as a sophomore…recorded one goal and four assists in freshman season…also played junior high basketball at Penn Manor.

Personal: Full name is Rachel Elizabeth Hess…is the daughter of Jim and Katie Hess…majoring in psychology.
