Biography

2012 (Sophomore): Was a NCAA qualifier in the 10,000 meters and won WVIAC titles in both the 5K and 10K with the Griffins...set both the all-time WVIAC 5K and 10K championship meet records in addition to seven school track records over two years...earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the second straight year…finished as the runner-up at the WVIAC championships for her second consecutive All-WVIAC finish…cited as the cross country team’s MVP…earned All-Atlantic region honors after a 20th-place finish at the NCAA regional…was a three-time WVIAC Cross Country Runner of the Week – including once after winning the White race at the Paul Short Invitational.

2011 (Freshman): Started out as a progressing distance runner for the Griffins of Seton Hill in her first year with the team…earned All-WVIAC cross country honors after placing 10th at the conference championships…was named the most valuable rookie by her cross country team and later received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

Northern Lehigh High School: Totaled eight varsity letters for the Bulldogs under coach Dave Oertner…was a three-time PIAA state qualifier at the ‘AA’ level from 2007-09 and earned numerous District XI and Colonial League All Star citations…named the most valuable track athlete in 2008 after establishing the school record in the mile…voted as a three-time MVP of the cross country team.

Personal: Full name is Stephanie Aleen Pryor…is the daughter of Bryon and Pamela Pryor…majoring in communication/journalism.
