2011-12 (Sophomore): Was a PSAC indoor qualifier in the 60 meters and the a PSAC outdoor qualifier in the 100 and 200 meters during her second season with the team…established a new PR in the 60 meters at Lehigh.
2010-11 (Freshman): Debuted as a sprinter for the Raiders in her debut season at Shippensburg…placed fourth as a member of the 4x100-meter relay squad that competed at the PSAC outdoor championships and set a new outdoor school record…qualified for the 100 and 200 meters at the PSAC outdoor meet…also qualified for the 60 meters at the PSAC indoor meet…established all of her major PRs at respective PSAC Championships.
Penncrest High School: Earned four letters with the Bubblers under coaches Joe Harker and Matt Brenner…served as the anchor leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that won a district championship and placed fourth at the 2008 PIAA state championship meet…honored with an All-Sentinel Second Team selection as a senior and an All-Sentinel First Team designation as a sophomore…also played basketball…earned four academic letters of excellence.
Personal: Full name is Allison Diane Herr…is the daughter of Marlin and Diane Herr…majoring in mid level/elementary education: grades 4-8…concentrating in mathematics and science…has a sister, Natalie, who played volleyball…mother Diane is an ’84 graduate of Shippensburg.
