2008: Appeared in seven games during his sophomore season…made three starts…struck out six batters in 10 innings of work… recorded a victory in the March 14 contest at Bloomsburg, scattering three runs in 3.2 innings pitched… did not allow an earned run in three of his outings.

2007: Appeared in eight games as a freshman for the Red Raiders…made two starts…struck out 17 batters in 18.1 innings…allowed just 10 hits…held opponents to a .154 batting average…did not allow a hit in his start against Kutztown, pitching 6.2 innings and striking out nine before leaving the game…logged more than one inning in four of his appearances.

2006: Was a member of the baseball team at Division I Coastal Carolina but did not see action…named to Dean’s List and won Presidential Award of Big South Conference.

High School: Won three varsity letters for Hempfield High School and Coach Tom Getz…tallied a 5-3 record with a 2.50 ERA on the mound during senior season…hit .360 as a senior…named Honorable Mention All-Lancaster-Lebanon League as a pitcher following sophomore season, second team as a pitcher following junior year and honorable mention as a designated hitter as a senior…led team to two Lancaster-Lebanon League Championships…named MVP of the Keystone Games while competing for Hempfield Legion...earned a 3.4 GPA and was a member of National Honors Society.

Personal: Born on March 26, 1987…is the son of Dan and Michelle Harnick…majoring in business.
