2013-14 (R-Sophomore): Returned to the team late in the second semester and represented the Raiders at the NCAA Super Region One Championships as a 165-pound competitor…totaled a 1-2 record at the tournament, including a major decision over Millersville’s Zach Pincus.
 
2012-13 (R-Freshman): Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships as a 133-pounder in his debut season with the Raiders…posted a 21-5 record, including a 13-1 mark in dual meets…became the first Raider to win a regional championship since Chris Barrick in 2009, going 4-0 at the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships…lost just once to a Division II wrestler during the regular season, avenging a loss to Mercyhurst’s Dylan D’Urso at the PSAC Championships with a 9-4 win in the regional championship match…recorded nine major decisions, two pins and a technical fall…placed fifth at the PSAC Championships, posting a 3-2 record at the Division I-laden tournament…notched one of his major decisions over a Southwest Minnesota State wrestler at the NCAA Championships…recorded a 15-match winning streak, the longest by an SU wrestler since Steve Fittery won 16 consecutive bouts in 2008…went three whole months without a loss.
 
2011-12 (Freshman): Redshirt season at the University of North Carolina…compiled a 10-10 record as an unattached competitor with the Division I Tarheels…placed fourth at the Hokie Open and the Appalachian Open as a 133-pound wrestler…totaled four major decisions, one technical fall and one pin.

South Western High School: Earned four varsity letters with the Mustangs under coaches Greg Sprenkle and Jeff Myrdal…was a three-time Pennsylvania state place-winner…won three District and four Regional championships…posted a 134-22 record…served as a team captain as a senior…graduated on the honor roll…competed at the club level under coach Cary Kolat.

Personal: Full name is Cameron Dakota Throckmorton…is the son of Ed and Lynn Throckmorton…majoring in human communication studies…has a sister, Carissa, who is a senior softball player at Pitt.
