2011-12 (Junior): Continued her competition in freestyle event for the Raiders…was especially active in sprint events…achieved a new PR in the 100 freestyle during a time trial at the Zippy Invitational…set a new PR in the 50 freestyle at the Patriot Invitational.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Debuted with the Raider swim team…competed in sprint freestyle events…also swam the 200-yard freestyle…established collegiate PRs in all three events…swam at the Patriot Invitational and the Crimson Hawk Dual Invite.
2009-10 (Freshman): Was with the team but did not compete.
Abington High School: Earned four letters under head coach Joe Lennon…excelled as a sprinter, posting a 26.4 time in the 50 freestyle and a 59.4 in the 100 freestyle at the PIAA District 1 meet…named captain during her senior season…won the Suburban 1 Honorable Mention team in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay as a senior…won the Charles F. Pawling Memorial Swimming Award as a senior…competed for the Abington Dolphins club team…high school and club teammate of fellow Lady Raider Alayna Ryan.
Personal: Full name is Sara Grace Small…is the daughter of Mitch and Jeannette Small…majoring in communication/journalism with an electronic media emphasis.
