2011-12 (Junior): Made strides as a freestyle swimmer for the Raiders in his third season…ranked third on the team in the 50 freestyle with a PR achieved at the Zippy Invitational…also ranked among the team’s Top 5 in the 100 freestyle.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Competed as a freestyle swimmer in his second season with the team…primary events were sprints…achieved his season PRs in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle at the Patriot Invitational…posted a new PR in the 100-yard butterfly at the Crimson Hawk Dual Invite.
2009-10 (Freshman): Debuted with the Raider swim team while primarily competing in freestyle flights…specialized in sprint events…ranked fifth among his SU brethren in the 100-yard freestyle (49.32)…also posted times in the 100-yard backstroke (55.18) and the 100-yard butterfly (58.66).
Bucks County Tech: Earned three letters for head coach and SU swimming alum Brian Suter…won Team MVP during senior season…posted personal-best times of 22.7 in the 50 freestyle sprint and 49.2 in the 100 meter freestyle sprint…also competed for club team CORE.
Personal: Full name is Michael John Keefe…is the son of John and Jodi Keefe…majoring in geoenvironmental studies and seeking a geographic information systems certificate…has a brother, Joe, who swam for Shippensburg from 2008-12.
