Shippensburg University Athletics

2014 (Junior): Appeared in four games in relief, totaling 2.2 innings, in his second year with the club…pitched one inning of scoreless ball at Belmont Abbey, allowing no hits and one walk…pitched 0.2 innings and did not allow a base runner in a 6-5 victory at East Stroudsburg...also appeared against Pitt-Johnstown and Kutztown.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in two games in relief in his debut season at Shippensburg…gave up one hit in one total inning on the mound…appeared against IUP and Clarion.
 
2012 (Freshman): Pitched 19.1 innings in his lone season at Frederick C.C.…pitched in 10 games…struck out 13 batters and posted a 6.52 ERA…recorded a 1-3 record.
 
Central Dauphin East High School: Earned five varsity letters for the Panthers under head coach Chuck Fackler…named to the Mid-Penn First Team in 2011…also named the team’s pitching MVP in 2009 and the defensive MVP in 2011…also played basketball… competed on the club team Lawnton Twilight under head coach Dick Schwartz.
 
About Richter: Full name is Kevin Andrew Richter…is the son of Ken and Darlene Richter…majoring in supply chain management…has a brother, Kyle, and a sister, Emily.
