Shippensburg University Athletics

2012 (Sophomore): Batted .360 in 14 games with six starts (two at first base, four at designated hitter)…had nine hits (two extra-base) and four runs in 25 at-bats…recorded eight RBIs…had two hits against  Bloomsburg, Mansfield and East Stroudsburg…had two RBIs against West Chester and Mansfield and three RBIs against East Stroudsburg in which he hit a two-RBI triple.

2011 (Freshman): Debuted as a utility player for the Raiders…appeared in nine games, making four starts…delivered a pinch-hit RBI-double in a win over West Liberty…started the first three games of the season.

Solanco High School: Earned three letters with the mules as an outfielder under head coach David Wimer…named All-League as a senior…posted a .370 career batting average…was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Full name is Daniel Clayton Wimer…is the son of David and Nancy Wimer…majoring in biology…has a brother, Benjamin, and a sister, Rebecca, who played softball at York from 2004-07.
