2012-13 (Junior): Thrived as SU’s leading multis competitor in his third season with the Raiders…won the decathlon at the PSAC Outdoor Championships and finished second at the PSAC Indoor Championships in the heptathlon, posting NCAA provisional qualifying scores in both events…satisfied the PSAC outdoor qualifying standards in the 110-meter hurdles, 400 meters and high jump as well as the PSAC indoor qualifying standard in the high jump…cleared a personal best of 6 feet, 5 inches in the high jump at the PSAC Indoor Championship…recorded six outdoor personal bests and five indoor personal bests in conference championship competition.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Achieved his first PSAC place-winning performances in both the indoor and outdoor multis during his second season with the Raiders…placed seventh at the PSAC indoor championships in the heptathlon and seventh at the PSAC outdoor championships in the decathlon…recorded new personal bests in both multis events…finished two heptathlons and two decathlon during the season.

2010-11 (Freshman): Posted a solid debut season with the Raiders as a multis competitor…placed ninth in the decathlon at the PSAC outdoor championships in just his second outdoor multis competition…excelled in the long jump, setting an outdoor PR at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational from Richmond…also earned high marks in the sprints and hurdles.

Middletown Area High School: Totaled 10 varsity letters with the Knights under coach Don Boyer…exceled in a variety of events…also played football.

Personal: Full name is Austin Glenn Strine…is the son of Russell and Sharon Strine…majoring in criminal justice…has two siblings: Colin and Megan.
