2012 (R-Freshman): Made an immediate impact as a reserve linebacker for the Red Raiders in his debut season on the field…appeared in all 13 games for the team either on defense or special teams…amassed 15 tackles (seven solo)…had a key forced fumble and recovery in the season opener versus Shepherd…credited with one pass defensed…posted a season-high three tackles against ESU and Millersville…managed multiple tackles against Shepherd and Cheyney.

2011 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

Father Judge High School: Filled multiple defensive roles for the Crusaders under head coach Tom Coyle...played defensive back, linebacker and defensive end…named All-Catholic League Second Team squad as a senior defensive end…received All-Philadelphia Third Team honors as a senior defensive end…also competed in track & field…earned All-Catholic League Third Team honors as a triple jumper…graduated with numerous academic honors.

Personal: Full name is Steven Benjamin Owens…is the son of James and Andrea Williams…majoring in exercise science…has five siblings: Angelina Owens, Alexas Owens, Sharon Williams, Nyeem Liggins and James Liggins.
